Should you use automation tools to create online content?
This is my weekly digital marketing update. So this week, I thought I'd look at the subject of automation tools
and I get asked about this quite a lot and whether you should use them to create and manage your online content. So Marketing automation tools, mean things like Scheduling Tools for Social Media and also increasingly those new tools that use Artificial Intelligence or AI to create the content for you.
So tools like Jarvis.ai OR Invideo.io,which actually do create the content for you. I'm working on a more detailed look at the best free and paid-for tools to help you with your, content management, and I'll be talking about, that another time.
The short answer to the question of whether you should use these sorts of tools in your online marketing is YES with a BUT the but is that you need to make sure that your content is still your own tone of voice and authentic and consistent to the content you produce. Otherwise, people will think -will see it's been produced by a machine.
So for example, in something like Jarvis by all means, get it to create a blog for you, but just use that as your first draft, have a good look through it at and add your own authentic tone of voice. Sure let it do the legwork for you. Similarly, with the scheduling tools, use them to do the legwork for you, putting out most of the posts that they put out at different times of day times of the week etc but occasionally, do your own directly just to show people that its not all being automated.
